Teacher Dress Up: Winter Camel Skirt – January Day 2

Teacher Dress Up: Winter Camel Skirt

Pieces: Camel Skirt + Striped T-shirt + Oxford button + tights + dark brown heeled boots + contrasting belt

A preppy twist on a winter wool skirt. Layer the oxford over the striped button, and if needed double up with an ivory scarf. Next, add a contrasting belt and complementary accessories. A wine color would also pair well. The headband can accessorize a low bun which will showcase the earrings. Throw on a coat of dark red or navy polish.

Teacher Dress Up: Winter Greys – January Day 1

Teacher Dress Up: Winter Greys

Pieces:  dark skirt + lighter sweater + matching tights + complementary metals (including statement necklace) + leather boots + contrast polish

Possible Substitution:  navy skirt and sky blue sweater

An easy outfit consisting of basics within your average closet.  A simple charcoal pencil skirt paired with a light grey sweater.  Grey tights and a solid leather boot.  A black riding boot could easily be swapped for the heeled boots.  The outfit looks most modern with a collar length necklace, but would look more classic with a long station necklace.  The set of stacking rings complements the grey tones while adding another element.  A simple bracelet and studs round out the look without competing with the necklace.  A dark plum polish would look great against the light grey tones.  A simple chignon from The Small Things Blog completes the outfit.
